DleJTalent

C M DleJTalent has all of the features you need to list talent online. Feature packed with Categories, Favorites, Features, Maps, Galleries, Video, Photographers, Projects, Talents, Resumes, Agents, and Search. To complete the component it comes with a form that allows users to apply as an agent to add their own talent listings to the website. It comes with a set of Modules that give you full control of your listings and bookings. Modules are an Advanced Search, Talents, Photographers, Agents, Categories, and full-width Talent Slider. Designed around BOOTSTRAP 4

Installation

  • This Component uses the standard Joomla installation guidelines from Components > Manage

Configuration

The configuration for DleJTalent is made up of 5 separate areas.  These are the Component, Talents, Photographers, Agents, and Permissions.  Most of these options are self explanatory so not every field in the documentation is explained.

Select Map:

Choose the map type that you prefer and enter your google API key if google maps is chosen.

Agent Group Name:

Nothing will show up here until you have set up and agent group.  You can name this group at you wish.
Refer to the Using the Apply as Agent Form in the documentation section.
 
Contact Captcha:

For this to work remember to set up the captcha / recaptcha plugin.
 
Show T&C Checkbox:

This will show the consent to Terms and Conditions Checkbox in the book
talent form in the talent details page.

Show Request For Booking:

This will show or hide the request form in the Talent details page.

Add to Favorite option:

You can add talents to your favorites by clicking the star at the right side of the talents listing.
This will hide that if you do not want to use it.
 
Recipient Email:

This is the email that will be used to send an email request for booking.

Talents Button Text:

The text that will show on the button of the talents listing to view the details of that talent.

Hide Category Buttons:

In the Talents Listings these category buttons are at the top of the listings and shows the categories and how many talents are in those categories.

Show Talent ID:

This ID will be generated if left blank in the edit talent section of the component.
This is a unique ID to identify a specific talent so the booking can not be confused with another talent.

Photographers Button Text:

This is the button text that will show on the button in the photographers listings to view the photographer details.

Projects Button Text:

This is the text that will shown on the button for the projects area to view a photographers projects from another URL.

Hide Category Buttons:

In the Photographers Listings these category buttons are at the top of the listings and shows the categories and how many Photographers are in those categories.

Show Photographer ID:

This ID will be generated if left blank in the edit Photographer section of the component.
This is a unique ID to identify a specific Photographer so the booking can not be confused with another.  At the moment, this is not really needed.  It is primarily for future use but can be utilized if you feel like it is needed.

Using the Apply as Agent Form

Apply to be an agent

In order to get this form to work we will lead you through the steps in your Joomla Backend below.

Step 1: Go to Users -> Group -> Add New Group and this will take you to the create user group page.

Step 2: Enter the name of the User Group and select the Group Parent as "Author".

Step 3: To allow Administrator Login for the new group go to Stystem -> Global Configuration -> and select the permissions tab, then the agent tab in the list of groups, then at the Administrator Login section select Allowed.

Step 4: On the left find of the page look for and select DleJTalent and again the permissions tab.  Select the "Agent" group and then at Access Administrator Interface select Allowed.

Step 5: Now at the same page select Component from the top tab and set your Agent Group Name.

Once the user then submits the form an email will be sent to you "the admin" showing the users information.  If you will approve the submission you only have a couple quick things you will need to do.

Step 1: First you will want to go to Users -> Manage and find the user and use Edit mode.  Go to -> Assigned Users Groups and select Agent.  Make sure the other groups are not selected.

Step 2: This is the last step in the process.  Go to Components -> DleJTalent -> Agents.  Find the new unpublished agent and publish that agent by clicking the red x circle.

You will only need to do the last two steps from here on out since the rest of the setup has been finalized.  When a user applies you will now only need to grant the user access to the Agent user Group and Publish them in the Component.
